We are back from TANZANIA & ZANZIBAR

The information received prior to our holiday was very useful, we had everything we needed.
Flights worked like clockwork with Kenya Airways, absolutely no problems.
The person meeting us at Nairobi was easy to find and the transfer fine. We went via a small conference with two reps from Albatross in a hotel. This was very useful as we were advised to buy water and currency in town.
Kirurumu Tented Lodge
Lake Maryara was our least favourite park – a bit like Longleat. Accommodation good and food excellent.
Ikoma Tented Camp
Serengeti – AMAZING, saw all animals, loved it! View from tent – INCREDIBLE. Camp – basic but good, comfortable (couldn’t use electricity to recharge batteries etc).
Plantation Lodge
Ngorargora crater was BRILLIANT, like nothing we’ve seen. Lodge okay, food excellent.
Tarangire Safari Lodge
Had the most amazing views, and the sunset/sunrise safaris gave us some great photos! Basic tent but excellent facilities. Food v. good.
Flight to Zanzibar worked well but it was in a very small (& bumpy) plane.
Zanzibar
Breezes was very friendly, with excellent service and food. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Loads to do.
Emerson and Greens Hotel, Stone Town
We enjoyed this hotel. Very different – most unusual. Mosque next door calling to prayer all night on loudspeaker made sleeping in a room with no glass in windows very tricky. -:
Dinner on the roof was amazing. Excellent food and lots of it! Coped well with dietary requirements. Belly dancers had to be seen to be believed.
General – our Guide was outstanding – made the holiday! Everybody was very friendly and helpful.
We were very happy with the service we received from Shellseekers and your colleagues at Time for Africa.
We will certainly recommend you to our friends.
Many thanks, Kay.
