We are back from the EAST COAST USA
New England in the Fall and Boston
Inns of New England, Driving through the Fall Colours & Boston. J&C October 2006
Flight on BA was on time and on-line check-in worked very well. The new restrictions were better than we feared, with one longish queue at each end but otherwise no different.
Centennial House Inn, Northfield
We liked it enormously.
Simple, homely, like staying as a guest in their house. The lady was an excellent cook and they could not have been more helpful.
Northfield was charming. Broad streets, large old houses, very spread out. Spacious.
Brass Lantern Inn, Stowe
The Inn was out of the main village area (which was quite commercialised). The Inn was very comfortable, good food and service. Wide choice of restaurants in Stowe, all within a short drive. Beautiful scenery.
The Marriott, Copley Place, Boston
This was a typical Marriott. Good room, good service. Situated in a large shopping Mall – heaven, particularly for those with a large credit limit! Very upmarket shops. The Boston Duck Tour was huge fun. Would stay there again.
Car Hire
No problems at all. Everything proceeded seamlessly.
Driving directions were easy to follow and accurate – we didn’t get lost once!
The service provided by Shellseekers was excellent. We cannot think of anything at all more that you could have provided to improve our holiday. We will certainly be happy to recommend Shellseekers to our friends.
