Holiday in India

It is impossible to describe India as one destination - for the simple reason that it is MANY! The diversity of culture, religion, wildlife and scenery is huge and so it is best treated as a wonderful selection of holidays. The things which are constant throughout this huge country are the colour and warmth, the bustle and calmness - and the beauty.

Flights to India are currently better value than to most other long-haul destinations, and once in India the value you receive is excellent.

A holiday to India is not just "sightseeing", it is a true experience. We go to enormous trouble to ensure that you not only get a holiday about which you have dreamed, but that you also feel you have truly felt the pulse and heartbeat of the country. Whatever your choice of sightseeing and activities, we work to include these in the most sensible and enchanting way. Our colleagues in India are there to look after you throughout your holiday - reflecting the enormous importance we place on personal service.

Traditionally, Europeans think of taking a holiday to India during winter because they are worried about the heat. However, there are many good reasons to travel to India during their summer - not least the tempting prices! Below is a list of reasons to take your Indian holiday in summer:

·        The best value possible - you get to stay in some of the finest hotels in the world at prices that you would pay for a 4 star hotel in the winter.

·        For wildlife lovers, late April and May are the best time of the year to see the famous Indian tiger. This elusive animal stays closer to the water during this time, and is more easily seen.

·        It is cooler than you think! Particularly in the desert regions of Rajasthan, the peak heat is between 11:30 am and 4:30 pm, when you could relax and enjoy your hotel. Sightseeing can be done in relative comfort in the early mornings and the evenings. The Indian summer is not hotter than many other destinations that you would consider visiting in the summer months - Dubai, Spain, Miami, etc.

·        Enjoy the monuments without the crowds - you have the luxury of visiting the monuments in the cities you visit, without having hundreds of tour buses present at the same time.

·        Enjoy the hotels - with lower summer occupancies, you can enjoy the hotels to their fullest. Use the spa without having to book it in advance, step into the restaurants without a reservation, have the pool to yourself.....

Our holidays are all arranged independently, which assures you of personal attention throughout your stay. And..... India can be great value, whilst enjoying very high standards of accommodation.
