Argentina– Patagonia 360.
This fixed-date itinerary is exceptional value for money. The small group size avoids the feeling of being on an organised “tour” and there is plenty of flexibility within the itinerary for personal exploration. The diversity of landscape in Argentina, a country the same size as Europe, is astounding. From dry deserts and lush rainforests in the north, expansive plains and rolling green pampas in the centre, to dramatic glacial formations and breathtaking scenery in the south, there is something to suit every individual.
This tour of Patagonia aims to showcase the best of southern Argentina, with its unique national parks and stunning fauna, by taking in the Atlantic Coast, the Beagle Channel and the Andean Glaciers.

This particular itinerary can be incorporated into any tailor-made holiday, but these fixed-date departures are excellent value for money. As the dates confirm with just two people, you may have a very small group and it could be a mix of nationalities (or even just you, if you are a party of 2 or more).
Basic Itinerary –
Day 1.
Arrival in Buenos Aires and transfer to hotel. Afternoon Four Balconies tour of the city, a unique perspective on Buenos Aires.
Day 2.
Day trip to the riverside districts of Tigre and San Isidro. Boat trip through the Parana Delta. Overnight in Buenos Aires.
Day 3.
Flight from Buenos Aires to Comodoro Rividavia and transfer to Bahia Bustamante. Bahia Bustamante is a seaside village surrounded by nature and one of few places in the world from which can be seen such a diverse number of seabirds and marine mammals. Activities on offer include; sailing, penguin watching, horse trekking, mountain biking and much more.
Day 4.
Day devoted to enjoying the facilities and activities on offer at Bahia Bustamante.
Day 5.
Transfer to Gaiman, via Cabo Dos Bahias nature reserve to visit the penguin colony. Gaiman is a rare thing in Argentina, a Welsh settlement renowned for its traditional teas! Continuing transfer to spend the night at Posada Los Mimbres, a beautifully landscaped farm on the Chubut river.
Day 6.
Morning trip to Peninsula Valdes, keeping an eye out for indigenous wildlife such as guanacos, Patagonian foxes and hairy armadillos! From June to December whales can be seen from Puerto Piramides. The afternoon will be dedicated to visiting El Doradillo, a wild environment for contemplating the landscape, and the Ecocentro in Puerto Madryn city. Return to Posada Los Mimbres via the elephant seal colony at Punta Ninfas.
Day 7.
Afternoon transfer to Trelew airport, via the Museum of Palaeontology in the city centre. Flight to Ushuaia and transfer to the hotel.
Day 8.
Full day visit to Tierra Del Fuego national park, including canoeing, trekking, lunch and innumerable fantastic vistas.
Day 9.
Full day excursion to Estancia Harberton, Ushuaia’s oldest ranch, and Gable Island - the largest in the Beagle Channel. Hiking, tea, then return to Ushuaia.
Day 10.
Afternoon transfer to Ushuaia airport for flight to El Calafate, the gateway to the majestic world of glaciers. Transfer to hotel Kau Yatun.
Day 11.
Full day visit to The Glaciers National Park, in the sub-Antarctic Continental Ice-cap, known as the "Third Pole". The day includes a navigation around the Perito Moreno glacier and mini-trekking across the glacier itself. Return to the hotel.
Day 12.
Day at leisure to enjoy the free time or one of these excursions;
Estancia Cristina – cruising on Lago Argentino, 4WD excursion, horse riding or trekking (these need to be booked in advance).
Cerro Frias – horse riding, wildlife watching.
4x4 Calafate Balconies – easy and panoramic drive with great views.
Day 13.
Transfer to El Calafate airport. Flight to Buenos Aires. Transfer to hotel. Evening trip to a dinner and tango show at one of the most prestigious tango house in Buenos Aires.
Day 14.
Transfer to the international airport to board you return flight home.
