Q. What do Shellseekers do?

A. We offer truly independent travel advice. We put together completely tailor-made trips, or work through trusted travel partners.

 

Q. What does this mean?
A. Shellseekers aim to chat with you and help you decide the holiday which will suit you on each occasion. Every holiday is different. There are wonderful, life changing, holidays which stay in your memory and variations in between, including relaxing short breaks, holidays which exhaust adults and exhilirate children, and times when you do something just to make your travelling companion happy, finding pleasure from their happiness. The simple answer is to try and make it the right holiday for you on each occasion.

 

Q. Sounds good, but you can't know everything!
A. No, but we will either know someone who does or we will do everything we can to find out for you. This is what we like best - exploring all the wonderful possibilities.

 

Q. Will using Shellseekers add extra cost to our holiday?
A. You should not pay any more by booking through Shellseekers; in fact, we can usually save you money. Effectively, we do everything you would do if you booked your own holiday direct - thus saving you time, stress and, hopefully, suggesting places you might not have considered.

 

Q. What about flights?
A. We do not buy and sell flights. However, as part of the service we normally research the various flight options after discussion with you (best departure airport, time of flight, cost etc) so all you need to do is confirm and pay for the flights. If you have airmiles or prefer to do your own flights, that is fine. The object of a "tailor-made" itinerary is to be totally flexible in order to put together the perfect holiday.

 

Q. What about other elements of the holiday?

A. We put together all the details of the holiday - including pre-departure Hotel and Airport Parking, Car Hire, European Rail Tickets, Sightseeing Tours, Tickets to Concerts, Theatres and Special Events, etc.

Shellseekers is a small, privately owned, company which takes pride in offering a genuinely personal service to our clients. Every holiday is created individually - although we do have some suggested itineraries on our "Holiday Ideas" pages which can be booked as they stand. When an itinerary has been a success, we often include details on the website to tempt anyone who may be thinking of one of our destinations but not too sure what it has to offer.

We firmly believe that people want personal care and attention when planning a holiday and a more one-to-one service than larger companies offer.

Our expertise is based on many years of travel industry experience, as well as a passion for travel which has taken members of the team to many fascinating parts of the world. We are very fortunate to have a wonderful network of travel colleagues all over the world on whom we can relyfor expert, first hand, up to date advice and assistance. It is our aim to offer you the very best service from the first contact right through until you are safely back home at the end of your holiday.

Our greatest pleasure is "getting it right" - which is best reflected in the comments received from clients after their return from holiday! There is nothing nicer than the words "where shall we go next?" Repeat business and personal recommendations are what make it all worthwhile.
